02 · The problem

Three waysto ruin your day.

The spreadsheet that breaks at the first broken link. Software from another era that demands its update at the worst moment. And AI, always so sure of itself, giving you the German VAT, then the French. In Belgium, it’s 21%.

03 · The transformation

Let’s rewind.With Fiplan.

You enter your assumptions, guided line by line: the account, the method, the growth. Fiplan calculates the rest under Belgian rules, and everything adds up.

Financial plans for Belgian accounting firms

The Belgian financialplan, accurateto the cent.

You enter assumptions. Fiplan writes the journal on the Belgian chart of accounts (PCMN), balances the statements and delivers the report the bank or the notary expects, as a PDF and as an Excel workbook with live formulas.

  • 3 trial files

The plan delivered, the file carries on.

The same file then serves to monitor the year, value the company and share with your client.

Monitoring

Import your client’s trial balance: Fiplan sets it against the plan and estimates where the year will land. From it come the estimated tax, the recommended advance payments (for a calendar financial year with quarterly payments) and a monitoring report in PDF and Excel.

Valuation

6 methods, from discounted cash flows (DCF) to adjusted net assets, each assumption with its source and date. The valuation report comes out in PDF and Excel.

Client space

Your client signs in to their space: the latest shared version of the plan, the latest published monitoring and valuation, the documents you publish there. They ask you their questions and approve the shared version.

What firms ask us.

Is the plan suitable for incorporating a company?

Yes. The Notary template follows the headings of the financial plan required by article 5:4 of the Belgian Code of Companies and Associations: description of the business, sources of financing, projected balance sheets and income statements, cash budget and assumptions used.

What is an active file?

A file you are working on. As soon as it is delivered or archived, it leaves the count, and you can find it at any time. A file in the bin does not count either.

Does Fiplan handle existing companies?

Yes. You carry over the previous year’s balance sheet, and the plan starts from those balances. Retained earnings and reserves follow.

Can I edit the Excel file?

Yes. The workbook contains real formulas and links between sheets. You can open it in Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice, complete it and send it on.

How does the trial work?

7 days, with every feature: 3 active files, 1 user, 1 client access. Your card is requested when you sign up; the first charge is taken on day 8, unless you cancel. During the trial, documents are shown on screen with the mention “Trial version”; downloading them (PDF, Excel) opens with the subscription.

How am I billed?

Monthly or yearly. Prices are shown excluding VAT; for a private individual, including VAT.

Can a private individual subscribe?

Yes, if they reside in Belgium: they sign up without a VAT number and pay the prices including VAT (21%). For 14 days, they can withdraw from the Subscription tab: any amount paid is refunded.

Where is my data hosted?

In the European Union, in Frankfurt (Germany). Each firm is isolated: a user sees only their firm’s files, according to their role.
