A financial plan is a mandatory document for creating a company in Belgium. Required by the Belgian Companies and Associations Code (CSA), it must demonstrate that your business has sufficient financial resources for at least the first two years.
Legal requirements in Belgium
Since the CSA reform of May 2019, the financial plan has become even more important. Article 5:4 requires founders to submit a financial plan to the notary before the deed of incorporation.
