Published documents
Your client only sees what you publish, and each publication is a snapshot: its figures and its PDF no longer move. A new version replaces the old one, which stays readable; only a published value can be withdrawn.
What it is for
Three publications, each from its own screen:
| What you publish | From | What the client receives |
|---|---|---|
| A version of the plan | Share this version (client record, Dossiers tab) or Share (the file's Report module) | the Summary, Results, Balance sheet and Cash tabs, and the PDF of the chosen template |
| The monitoring report | Publish the monitoring report (Monitoring module, step ⑤ Report) | the Monitoring tab and the report's PDF |
| The value of the business | Partager au client (Valuation module, step ⑤ Report) | the Value tab — the range, the central value, the methods in words, the levers — and the valuation report as a PDF |
In the client space, the file's Documents tab gathers all these PDFs, from the most recent to the oldest: shared plans, monitoring reports, valuation reports. Each line states its version and its date; a replaced version stays readable, marked “replaced on …”; the most recent document carries New until the person has opened it. Download opens it. In the Value tab, the valuation report can also be downloaded with Download the valuation report (PDF).
Steps
- Publish from the screen in the table above. For the value: in Valuation, step ⑤ Report, tick the content of the valuation report, then Partager au client; the “Partager avec le client” (share with the client) block says what goes out. The following times, the button becomes Publier une nouvelle version.
- The client's active people receive an e-mail on behalf of the firm — new version of the plan, monitoring report ready, value of the business —, without any amount. For monitoring, Also send by e-mail can be unticked: the publication then appears in the space without an e-mail.
- The client opens the file, then the Documents tab (or Value) and downloads the PDF.
- To withdraw the value: in Valuation, step ⑤ Report, “Retirer la publication” (withdraw the publication). The block then states “Version … retirée le …: le client ne voit rien.” (version … withdrawn on …: the client sees nothing).
Worked example · Boulangerie Dupont SRL
The firm shares the file “Plan financier 2027-2029” with the Notary template, corrects it, then shares a second version. In the Documents tab, Marie Dupont reads:
| Document | Detail | Mark |
|---|---|---|
| Plan · Financial plan for the notary | Version 2 · PDF · the date of the share | New, until she opens it |
| Plan · Financial plan for the notary | Version 1 · replaced on … | — |
The tabs Summary to Cash show version 2 only; the PDF of version 1 can still be downloaded: it keeps what had been shared.
